The Sneaker of the Week #2

Hello everyone! Today, it is Sunday, and what Sunday means? The end of the weekend? No, absolutely no! Sunday is the come back of the Sneaker of the Week saga!

So, today, for the Sneaker of the Week #2 I would like to present you the awesome collaboration between Atmos and Nike: The Air Max 1 “Safari”. Please, before to continue, just have a look on these sneakers. Are not they perfect? Personally they are the sneaker of my dream... But now, it is the time of the technical description.

This sneaker was born in 2002 and represents one the best collaborations of Nike. Concerning the shoe, of course there is the famous Safari print on the fender and the ankle collar, a canvas twill material for the toe box, a perfect suede for the upper with two different colours and, of course, the perfect midsole of the Air Max 1 model. This shoe is perfectly harmonized, the colors selected are perfect and remind us the original safari.

Atmos x Puma Disc Blaze Venus

Today, I will present you a Puma's model: the Puma Disc Blaze Venus x Atmos. Indeed, as you can see with the name of this shoe, it is a collaboration between Puma and the Japanese brand Atmos. 

On this sneaker, you can still see the famous disk lacing system proposed by the brand since the beginning of this model. Now, let's talk about the upper: you can see a deep suede blue on the toe box, and a large mesh in the same color on the rest of the shoe. To remind the astral theme, you can see, again, a structure colored with a deep blue on which there is a bi-color speckles (blue and gold), exactly as a starry sky. About the midsole, you can see that it is separated in two part and two colors: white and blue. Of course, the midsole has the Trinomic Technology. You can see a gold lining and, on the heel, we can perceive a piece of suede where appear the Puma's logo surrounded by a crescent moon. 

For sure, the astral the is omnipresent on the shoe and it is a special sneaker perfectly thinking. So, it is a successful collaboration!

Nike Air Huarache Light

Today, I will talk about a new model made by Nike: the Nike Air Huarache Light! As you can see, it is the perfect mix between a Nike Air, a Nike Huarache and a low Jordan XI Retro! I absolutely love this model. I decide to present you one of the model: the Nike Air Huarache Light Jade Stone.

The shoe has an upper made with mesh and suede colored with two kind of green, with a very dynamic withe midsole and a black outsole. That I love here, it is the touches of orange color for the both logo Nike and Huarache. You can find this model on Afew-store . Unfortunately, I haven't find another websites.

For sure, this shoe is, globally, a success and I hope that you like it!

The Sneaker of the Week #1

Let’s go for the Sneaker of the Week #1! Today, I would like to present you the KARHU FUSION 2.0 MOUNT SAANA PACK.

The FUSION is an old model of running shoes, which were very famous twenty years ago. Thanks to designers of the brand, the 2.0 version is now on sale, and what a result!

So, this pack is composed of three different colours that are linked to the Mount Saana moutain situated in Northern Finland. The uppers, constructed in a mix of pigskin suede and water resistant leather, are based on the colours of the autumn season. There are white midsoles for each pairs to contrast perfectly the shoe. No foul was made and this set of components gives to the shoe a perfect harmony.

The biggest releases of sneakers in 2015

First of all, this post is not created to show you the best sales of Sneakers during the year 2015 but rather to show you the best collaborations, the most expected-shoes by fans or shoes that have marked the year 2015.

Moreover, the year 2015 was an amazing year for Sneakers! Indeed, lots of collaborations have been created between brand and famous celebrities, and numerous old sneakers did a magnificent comeback. We will talk about it later in the post.

So, let’s go for the TOP 5!

First, we cannot talk about Sneakers success without mentioned the famous Stan Smith… Indeed, the shoes made by Adidas Originals knew a huge success during the year 2015! It is the perfect example of “Vintage” shoes: the Stan Smith was created in 1964. This shoe has travelled through generations but Adidas decided to stop its production in 2011. It is in 2014 that the famous Adidas shoe made its comeback and met success again. So, the Stan Smith is the perfect definition of the famous sentence of Adidas: “ Every Adidas has a story”.

Then, of course, I will talk about two different Air Jordan shoes. The first one is the shoe made by Air Jordan in collaboration with the Canadian Rapper Drake and his brand, OVO. The second one is the collaboration between Jordan and Supreme. So, what it means to be successful? Out of stocks of course! In 2015, the mythic Sneaker Brand knew a huge success through these two collaborations and it is sure that it will be the same case in 2016 because the brand announced a new collaboration with Drake for the Air Jordan 10 OVO.

Now, I will talk about one of the biggest commercial success of 2015: the Yeezy BOOST! Indeed, the Yeezy Season 2 was a wonderful collaboration between Adidas Originals and the American rapper Kanye West. Each sneaker model was out of stocks. The Yeezy Season 3 is now available and you can know more about it here. Anecdotally, the Yeezy BOOST “Pirate Black” was available today on Adidas.com and it is now out of stock on the site! No hesitation, the Yeezy BOOST will be, again, one of the best successes of 2016.

To finish, I will now talk about a mythic sneaker, a futuristic sneaker: the Nike Mag. This name tells you nothing? And if I say “Back to the Future”? Yes! The Nike of Marty McFly and its automatic lacing! After a first edition in 2011 without the famous automatic lacing, Nike decides to create the real one! Of course, this model is not available but it has been create for the 30^th birthday of “Back to the future” and for the delight of fans. Great Scott!

The Yeezy season 3 is coming !

The third Yeezy Season arrives! The famous American rapper Kanye West presented, the 11th of February in the Madison Square Garden the new Yeezy season always in collaboration with Adidas Originals. Of course, we know the genius and the megalomania of "Yeezus", so it was more a show than a defile:

    20 000 peoples was invited in the New-Yorker Stadium

    The show was retransmitted in cinemas all around the world

    Kanye West presented his new album named “The life of Pablo”

    A lot of celebrities were among the public (Jay-Z, Young Thug, Travi$ Scott, …)

You can imagine how this defile was expected in the world of fashion. But now, it is time to speak about Sneakers! Indeed, the famous sneakers out of sold are back! And, with the third season, the Yeezy 350 has been redesigned and a totally new model has been created: the Yeezy 1050.

There is an amazing new for the Yeezy’s lovers: the Yeezy 350 “Pirate Black” will be available the 19^th of February on Adidas.com! The shoe has a design in black and dark grey Primeknit with suede inserts on the insides where is inscribed "YZY" and the Adidas Originals logo. A “Black Boost” sole and round laces coming finalize this near monochrome look. Moreover, three new models of 350 Boost will be available: The Yeezy 350 BOOST "Marble Cake", the Yeezy 350 BOOST "Citrus" (Yellow) and two kind of Yeezy 350 BOOST with a colored stripe on the sides.
