It is not the first collaboration
between MITA Sneakers, the Japanese brand, and New Balance, the two brands have
a long history together. But, this collaboration is more special than the
others: it is for the 20th anniversary of the New Balance 580! To
celebrate it, they create a pack with two different colours. You have to know
that it was MITA Sneakers which collaborated with New Balance for the 10th
anniversary of the NB580. So, there is a real story between MITA and New
Balance.
As I said before, there are two
different colours for this pack: olive green-golden yellow and umber brown. The both construction are made with nubuck and
a mix of different mesh. On this shoe, there are two things that I truly love:
the translucent sticker on the tongue where is mentioned “580 New Balance” and
the special form of the midsole: so dynamic, so futurist, I love it!
Unfortunately for the lovers of
these shoes, they are quite rare because only MITA Sneakers commercialized
them. But, at least, it is a pleasure for the eyes.
